Valencia Basket opened the preseason with a
victory beating Casademont Zaragoza by 73-88 in the first edition of the Pepe
Lanzuela Memorial where the first friendly game between acb teams played in
Teruel completed the allowed capacity of 600 spectators. The taronja team
started with a great first quarter driven by their 3-point accuracy and managed
their advantage well despite the attempts of the Aragonese team in a game in
which the five absences due to injury were covered by five LEB Plata players,
with a prominent role Guillem Ferrando (10 points) and Millán Jiménez (8),
being Dubljevic with 20 points was the top scorer.
