Statement by Jaume Ponsarnau post J21 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague at LDLC Asvel
“First congratulations
to LDLC Asvel, he has played better than us, tougher, and for that they have
won. We entered the game with good ideas, but in the second quarter we had
problems with his efficiency and his rebound, also in the third, with the offensive
rebound. In the second half we entered with a good mentality, creating
problems, but they finished the fourth with good feelings, and at that moment
we started to lose. At the beginning of the last quarter we started in a
disappointing way, with little heart, with little soul and without being the
image we want to show. We finished the game with players who put their hearts,
changing the image, but disappointed because they played better and harder than
us ”
