The court of Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv, first stop on the taronja tour

Valencia Basket starts a series of three consecutive away games visiting the Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv’s court for the second time in its European history (Thursday 24, 20:05 hours, Menora Mivtachim, DAZN) in a game in which the team squad is looking for a victory that allows them to win the first game at the maximum European competition and break a bad dynamic that has led Valencia Basket to chain four straight losses in a row.

 

To try to storm the Maccabi’s court for the first time, coach Jaume Ponsarnau has taken the twelve players he has available. Joan Sastre and Mike Tobey are sidelined. The Montenegrin center Bojan Dubljevic can become the fourth player to reach 400 games as a taronja player in a game that faces two of the worst-throwing teams from behind the triple-point line, so rebound control and the improvement in the accuracy seems like two important aspects in the game.
