The second leg of the Euroleague starts at Fonteta with a big game vs. Olympiacos Piraeus

Valencia Basket repeats European clash in Fonteta to open the second leg of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague hosting Olympiacos Piraeus in the round 18 (Friday 10, 21:00h, Fonteta, DAZN). It is a game in which Jaume Ponsarnau's men will try not only to extend their good streak at home in European competition (there are already six wins in a row at the Fonteta in this tournament), but they also face the challenge of taking that win over Greeks with a triple goal: put for the first time in the current season 50% of victories in their Euroleague balance, win for the first time Olympiacos in La Fonteta and break the streak of eight straight defeats against this opponent in this competition.

 

To try to achieve this the taronja squad will have the added difficulty of the absence of the American shooting guard Jordan Loyd, sidelined for tomorrow's game by a sprained left ankle, while other players who dragged small problems during the week such as Labeyrie and Tobey could make the final roster.
