Tough test for Valencia Basket visiting Baskonia’s court in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague

Valencia Basket opens a series of three games in five days visiting the Baskonia’s court (Wednesday 25, 20:30h, Fernando Buesa Arena, Movistar Deportes 1) in a the Turkish Airlines Euroleague week 3 game. The Taronja squad faces their second Euroleague away game with problems in the backcourt, since Joan Sastre joins Antoine Diot and Fernando San Emeterio in the injured list with a left psoas sinew tear. Also Latavious Williams will not be available, so the young Tryggvi Hlinason and Josep Puerto complete the taronja roster. Valencia Basket visits Vitoria for the third time for a match of the maximum continental competition, and will try to break their bad dynamics, since it has never managed to win there in the Euroleague. The Taronja squad is in seventh place in the standings, with a 1-1 balance.
