Valencia Basket begins its European tour visiting the complicated court of Crvena Zvevda

After chaining three home-wins in a row to climb positions in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague, Valencia Basket opens with the visit to the court of the Crvena Zvevda MTS Belgrade (Thursday 28, 19:00h, Aleksandar Nikolic Hall, DAZN) a series of five consecutive weeks with away-games in continental competition in which the taronja squad will try to add their first victory as a visitor in this tournament.

 

With the added incentive of breaking the statistics that says that the Red Star is the only team of participants in the current edition of the Euroleague that Valencia Basket has never been able to beatin  this competition (the balance is 0-4 in favor of the Serbs ). In an afternoon in which the point-guard Guillem Vives will reach 300 games with Valencia Basket and 100 in continental competition, the Taronja team will need to maintain its good offensive pace and its shooting accuracy to get the victory of the court of one of the best defenses of the Euroleague.

 

The Taronja expedition leaves this afternoon with the 13 players available, with the only absence of the Belgian point-guard Sam Van Rossom. Valencia Basket currently occupies the 13th position of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague with a 4-6 in the standings.
