Valencia Basket closes a frantic week hosting UCAM Murcia in the Fonteta

The Endesa League returns to the Fonteta after more than a month of absence with the round 22 game in which Valencia Basket receives the visit of UCAM Murcia (Sunday 10, 19:30h, Fonteta, Movistar Deportes 3) in a meeting that will be the third game for the men of Jaume Ponsarnau in less than six days. To alleviate the wear, the taronja squad has the impulse of winning the three games after the February break, the moral boost of being the only team that has already sealed its place in the semifinals of the 7DAYS EuroCup and the good shape of Mike Tobey (12 points, 8 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 18 PIR in the last three wins).

 

To close the circle with four wins in nine days, Valencia Basket will have to break its bad dynamic against a rival who has won in his last two visits to the Fonteta. And for this he will not be able to count with the Antoine Diot, sidelined in the Endesa League due to an overload in the hamstrings of his left leg. With 13 players available for this game, the taronja coaching staff will have to make a discard more before the start of the game.
