Valencia Basket closes its stretch of games at Fonteta hosting Zalgiris Kaunas

Valencia Basket men's team closes its series of four games in a row at Fonteta hosting Zalgiris Kaunas (Tuesday 9, 8:30 p.m., Fonteta, Movistar Deportes 2) in a the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague round 20 game.

 

At the beginning of its second double-game week in a row in the top continental competition, the Taronja squad will try to get rid of the negative feeling of its defeats against Panathinaikos Aktor Athens and Dreamland Gran Canaria by defending its court to stay in the bunch of teams that are fighting for staying close to the Playoff positions.

 

In a stretch of great wear and tear, the Taronja team will once again be able to count on the three players that had to be ruled out due to regulations in Sunday's game and coach Mumbrú will have to choose between the fourteen players he has available, since the injured Víctor Claver and Martin Hermannsson, not activated in European competition, are the only safe sidelined players for tomorrow's clash.

 

Although Valencia Basket won with ease in the first leg game and dominate the overall balance, their precedents against this rival are negative since Zalgiris has won in their last three visits to Fonteta.
