Valencia Basket closes Liga Endesa Regular Season on the court of MoraBanc Andorra
Valencia Basket men's team closes the Endesa League Regular Season visiting the MoraBanc Andorra’s court (Sunday 12, 6:30 p.m., Pavelló de Govern, Movistar Deportes 7) in a game in which it seeks a victory that would allow the taronja squad to secure the home-court advantage status in the Endesa League Playoffs.
A victory in the Principality would leave the Taronja team third or fourth, although they could also be in the Top-4 with a loss. Xavi Albert's men cannot fall below fifth place, a position they would occupy only if a specific combination of results occurs: defeat in Andorra, victory for Dreamland Gran Canaria and defeat for Lenovo Tenerife.
It will not be easy to win on a court where, although Valencia Basket leads the overall history by 4-5, in its last five visits has had three defeats and two wins by just one point.
Brandon Davies will miss his third consecutive game due to an injury to his right knee and his absence joins that of the long-term injured Boubacar Touré.
The Taronja team has travelled with fourteen players and will hold two work sessions in Andorra to decide the two players ruled out for this game, one of them necessarily one of the three Americans.
Valencia Basket begins this round in fourth position in the Endesa League with a balance of 21-12.
