Valencia Basket, looking for the first win against AX Armani Exchange Milan at La Fonteta

Valencia Basket closes the seventh round of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague returning home after two consecutive away games to host AX Armani Exchange Milan (Friday 6, 9:00 p.m., Fonteta, DAZN) in a game in which it will seek to beat this Italian team for the first time at Fonteta. The three previous ones so far fell on the visiting side, in the last two with overtimes included.

 

To try to break down that statistical wall, the Taronja squad will have to readjust its roster to overcome the absences in the forward positions: Sastre, Marinkovic and San Emeterio are sidelined and Klemen Prepelic is expected to be able to play despite having missed some practice sessions this week due to a muscular injury.

 

In a clash of styles between two of the best teams in the PIR standings in the competition, Valencia Basket opposes its first place in assists and its accuracy in the two-point shot against an opponent who is the one that takes the most free throws and shoots with the third best three-point percentage of the tournament. Valencia Basket begins this seventh round in the fifth position of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with a 3-2 in its standings.
