Valencia Basket measures its recovery capacity hosting Movistar Estudiantes at Fonteta

After chaining two triumphs as a visitor in Fuenlabrada and Kaunas, Valencia Basket returns home fifteen days later to try to maintain its good dynamics in the game that closes the Endesa League round 13 and that confronts Movistar Estudiantes (Sunday 15, 20:00h, Fonteta, Movistar Deportes 1). Although not even two days have passed since their triumph in continental competition, the Taronja team hopes to be strong in Fonteta to expand their good time at home (five home wins in a row) and add a win that can approach a little more to the goal of getting into the Copa del Rey.

 

In a confrontation in which two of the teams that best care for the ball in the Endesa League are facing each other, Valencia Basket will try to extend the offensive effectiveness that has made it the third best attack in the Endesa League and assert the advantage that it has in the previous ones (11 taronja wins in the Fonteta in the last 13 visits of the blue team)

 

Although Guillem Vives dragged some discomfort in the right thigh and was one of the discarded in Kaunas, coach Jaume Ponsarnau has the 14 players available. Sam Van Rossom (who already played 14 minutes in Lithuania on Friday) and Brock Motum are the two players who are in the deactivated list for the Endesa League, although changes can be made in the roster until Sunday 15 at 2 pm. The Taronja team currently occupies the 9th position of the league championship, with a balance of 6-6.
