valencia Basket men's team will perform in front of their fans facing CB Gran Canaria

Valencia Basket men's team will debut this season in front of their fans in the second game in the afternoon, corresponding to the XXVII edition of the Ciutat de València Trofeu, in which they will face CB Gran Canaria (Tuesday 7, 9:00 p.m. hours, Fonteta, La 8 Mediterráneo). An appointment that returns after not being able to be played in 2020 due to the pandemic. This meeting will be the culmination of an afternoon in which for the first time there will be a double game for our professional teams, with the Rubén Burgos’ girls playing the first edition of this tournament in the women's category against MKS Polkowice from 6:00 p.m. and with the traditional presentation of the boys and girls that make up the L'Alqueria del Basket teams and of the two professional squads between the two meetings.

 

This meeting could mean the preseason debut of center Mike Tobey, while shooting guard Klemen Prepelic, who has already joined the team's practices, has a more difficult time jumping onto the court against the yellows. Louis Labeyrie and two of the signings such as Xabi López-Arostegui and Neno Dimitrijevic will be sidelined for this game. The taronja team will try to regain its hegemony in its own tournament (it has won 18 of the 26 editions) and break a losing streak of three consecutive defeats in its presentation game. La Fonteta will open its doors at 5:00 p.m. and because the capacity allowed is not enough for all subscribers to access, it will be necessary to purchase a ticket to attend both games.
