Valencia Basket began its participation in the acb with a 78-83 win at the Real Betis Baloncesto’s court in a game in which it was ahead for most of the match, in which it distanced itself to 16 with a 2-13 run in the third quarter and in which only the White and Green final push shortened the score without endangering the Taronja victory. Chris Jones made his debut in the Liga Endesa with 17 points and 19 credits, the same rating as Jasiel Rivero (16 points and 4 rebounds), while captain Dubljevic made his eleventh season open with 12 rebounds and Van Rossom his tenth with 10 points and 3 assists.
