Valencia Basket opens the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague hosting Cazoo Baskonia at La Fonteta
Valencia Basket begins its seventh participation in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with one of its most classic games in this competition to host Cazoo Baskonia (Thursday 6, 8:30 p.m., Fonteta, DAZN/Movistar+ Dial 65) after starting the official season with two wins in the Liga Endesa.
On a night in which Bojan Dubljevic could become the player with the most games played in European competition with the taronja jersey, Valencia Basket will try to reverse the recent dynamics of clashes between these two teams, since last season the five clashes played ended with an away team victory.
Pending the last practice, coach Álex Mumbrú (who will make his debut in this competition along with six other players from the squad) has thirteen players available, so in the match preview, he will decide the roster of twelve with who will meet the match.
Millán Jiménez (left ankle) and the long-term injured Martin Hermannsson remain out due to physical problems. Although the general dynamic is favorable to the Taronja team with four victories in the five previous visits by the Vitorian team to La Fonteta in the Euroleague, Valencia Basket lost in all three home games against this rival from last year.
