Valencia Basket repeats at La Fonteta hosting Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana

Valencia Basket repeats at La Fonteta to try to scare away the bad feelings of the first three quarters of their game against Río Breogán and extend their good dynamics in the European competition, where the taronja have three wins in a row, hosting Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana (Tuesday 21, 20:45h, Fonteta, DAZN / Movistar dial 59) in a 7DAYS EuroCup round 8 game.

 

After not competing last week in their game against Frutti Extra Bursaspor due to the detection of positives of Covid-19 in the team, the taronja squad returns to the European competition in what will be their second home-game of a series of three in less than five days. At least, this time the Taronja team will have a team practice to prepare for the game under the command of Juan Maroto, who could return to serve as first coach in the event that Joan Peñarroya is not recovered in time to leave his isolation.

 

In that session there will be neither Sam Van Rossom (who already returned to the courts in Sunday's game) nor Neno Dimitrijevic (already recovered from the rupture in the hamstring muscles in his right leg that has kept him off the courts since October 23th, but did not have minutes despite entering the call on Sunday). Víctor Claver will be the only sidelined player. Valencia Basket is currently fourth in group B of the 7DAYS EuroCup with a record of 4-2, although with one game less than the teams the taronja squad has one victory away.
