Valencia Basket repeats at La Fonteta to host a rising Unicaja

Valencia Basket will seek to become strong again at home (where has won its last ten games) and will especially need the support of its public as an extra lung to repeat just 42 hours after its win against Lenovo Tenerife to host Unicaja (Sunday 3, 5:00 p.m., Fonteta, Movistar Deportes 2) in a Endesa League round 27 game.

 

The taronja team faces the third of their series of four games in a week against a rival who arrives in excellent shape with three wins in a row in national competition and who have been dangerous in their last visits to the taronja fiefdom (they have won in three of his last four visits to the Fonteta).

 

In a game in which coach Joan Peñarroya will again have his guards rotation reduced with Sam Van Rossom, Neno Dimírjevic and Klemen Prepelic sidelined, the step forward taken in Friday's game by players like Martin Hermannsson, Xabi López-Arostegui o Josep Puerto will be essential to try to maintain the good dynamics in the Endesa League, where the Taronja side have won nine of their last eleven games.
