Valencia Basket returns home to look for its best version vs. Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz

Valencia Basket men's team returns to La Fonteta 17 days after its last home game with the desire to feel the support of its public again to change its current dynamic in the highest continental competition by facing Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz (Friday 1, 8:30 p.m., Fonteta, Movistar Plus+) in a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague round 11 game.

 

The taronja team will have with the heat of its stands an additional point to seek a win that will allow it to end in one fell swoop its bad streak in the Euroleague (where it has had four defeats), its poor dynamics against this rival (has lost its last six games against Baskonia, including the one played in Vitoria two weeks ago by 83-74) and their bad streak against the Vitorian team in La Fonteta (they have lost in the last five visits of the Gasteiz team).

 

The precedents, however, are favorable to the Taronja team, which has won four of the six previous visits of this opponent in the Euroleague.

 

Despite the incorporation of Icelandic point guard Martin Hermannsson into training, it is unlikely that he will be included in the roster for this game after a prolonged absence and Stefan Jovic will have a very difficult time being in this game after having missed the last three games due to a sprained ankle.

 

Valencia Basket begins this eleventh round in ninth position in the Euroleague with a balance of 5-5.
