Valencia Basket returns to La Fonteta in the Endesa League to host Coosur Real Betis

After achieving two hard-won victories in Burgos and Andorra, Valencia Basket returns home to play an Endesa League game three weeks later to host Coosur Real Betis (Sunday 31, 12:30 p.m., Fonteta, Movistar Deportes) in a round 8 game of the national competition. The taronja squad will try to break their bad start to the season at home and give a Fonteta that will be able to have 80% of its capacity the first home win of the season in the national tournament.

 

Although recent precedents are in favor of the Taronja squad (who have beaten the Betis in eight of their last nine games at the Fonteta), Dimitrijevic's injury once again leaves coach Joan Peñarroya with only eight players from the professional roster available and point guard Sam Van Rossom is questionable, so the second team players will once again complete the 12-man list for this game.

 

The positive news comes from the return of captain Bojan Dubljevic (who missed the last two acb game due to an ankle sprain) and Slovenian shooting guard Klemen Prepelic (who will debut this season in the Endesa League after injuring his left ankle after of the Endesa Super Cup). Valencia Basket occupies the seventh position in the Endesa League with a balance of 4-3.
