Valencia Basket returns to the Endesa League hosting Iberostar Tenerife at Fonteta

Valencia Basket returns to the Endesa League after two weeks without playing in the national competition for its successful participation in the EuroCup Finals. And it will do so hosting Iberostar Tenerife at the Fonteta in a game corresponding to round 28 (Saturday 20, 18:00h, Movistar Deportes). With the aim of qualifying for the next edition of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague already in the pocket, the taronja team wants to continue demonstrating their ambition to end the season as best as possible starting with a direct duel with another team involved in the fight to get the best put in the race for the Playoff. And against the one that surely will try to make up for the hard defeat suffered in the Santiago Martin in the match of the first leg.

 

In an afternoon with some celebration moments and in which the captains will be in charge of offering the trophy of the fourth EuroCup to all the fans of the Fonteta, Guillem Vives (who returns with the recovery of the tear in the myofascial union of the sartorius and adductor long muscles of his right leg) and the captain Rafa Martínez, who suffered a slight sprain of the right ankle in Thursday's training, will be sidelined.

 

In a game in which are the two most valued players of the Endesa League (Dubljevic against Colton Iverson) and two of the couples with the best numbers in the tournament, a taronja win would mean the 100th victory of Jaume Ponsarnau as head coach at ACB .
