Valencia Basket returns to the Endesa League visiting the Herbalife Gran Canaria’s court

Valencia Basket returns to the Endesa League after three weeks without games for the Copa del Rey break and the 2019 World Cup Qualifiers and does so to visit the court in which it was proclaimed champion of the Endesa Super Cup and play against the same opponent, Herbalife Gran Canaria (Sunday 4, 13:00h, Gran Canaria Arena, Movistar + dial 194) but in this case to play the match of day 21 of the Endesa League.

 

The big news in the team squad will be the inclusion in the call of the center Latavious Williams (who has been activated for the national competition after missing the first six months of the season with a right leg tibia injury) and the back to the list of the point guard Guillem Vives, who has returned this week to practice after being two months out with a left ankle injury and has traveled with the team.

 

The negative note is set by Tibor Pleiss, who has remained in Valencia to recover from plantar fasciitis on his right foot, which made him miss Thursday's game against Brose Bamberg, so the Taronja squad will have three injured players for this game: the German center, Sam Van Rossom and Antoine Diot. The taronja team broke their bad dynamic as a visitor in the Endesa League before the break in Burgos and will try to impose their defense and their accuracy in the three-point shot against one of the best offensive teams in the championship. Valencia Basket currently occupies the second position of the tournament, with a balance of 14-6.
