Valencia Basket seeks to storm the Baskonia fortress to get the ticket to the semifinals
After adding the first point of the Endesa League Playoff quarter-finals series against TD Systems Baskonia by winning at Fonteta by a tight 87-86, Valencia Basket is preparing for a new battle by facing the game 2 of the series against the Vitoria team (Wednesday 2, 7:45 p.m., Fernando Buesa Arena, #Vamos).
The taronja team managed to extend its good dynamics in national competition to eight wins in its last nine games and will try to maintain the feelings and accuracy under the basket of the second half of yesterday to try to resolve the series in the first of the two opportunities of which you will have to try to do it.
It will not be easy, much less against a rival who made it very clear at Fonteta that he has found his best feelings again after being able to recover players and energy last week. In addition, history is not on the side of the taronja squad.
The TD Systems Baskonia’s court is the one where it has the worst results of all the courts of the Endesa League (it has only won 15.8% of its visits), the taronja squad has not won there in national competition since the semifinals of 2017 and chains a streak of five consecutive defeats in Vitoria.
The Taronja expedition traveled this morning with the same twelve players who played the game 1 and will have two practice sessions to prepare for tomorrow's game.
