Valencia Basket seeks victory to extend its series against a very secure at home UCAM Murcia
Valencia Basket men's team faces the second game of its Endesa League quarterfinals series against UCAM Murcia (Wednesday 22, 8:30 p.m., Palacio de los Deportes, Movistar+ Deportes) with the need to add the win to extend the series, return it to Fonteta and ensure that their season does not end after losing in the game 1 by 86-96.
The taronja team will try to improve its offensive efficiency and its defensive exercise to extend a dynamic that says that on the last two occasions in which it began a best-of-three quarterfinals series with a 0-1, it was able to win the second game.
It will not be an easy task on the court of a team that has won 22 of its 24 home games this season and that has also done so with solvency with an average difference of 15.2 points in its victories.
A fact for optimism is that Valencia Basket is one of the two teams that has managed to take the win this season at the Palacio de los Deportes de Murcia, when they won after over-time by 77-85. The other, who has won in six of his last eight visits to this venue. Although it is the first time that they will play a Playoff game there.
With Chris Jones, Brandon Davies and Semi Ojeleye missing practices, the only confirmed sidelined players are long-term injured Boubacar Touré and Kevin Pangos.
