Valencia Basket visits one of the hottest teams in the Euroleague: Panathinaikos Aktor Athens

Valencia Basket men's team seeks to change its bad streak in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague on the court of one of the hottest teams in the competition, Panathinaikos Aktor Athens, in a game on round 10 of the highest continental competition (Thursday 23, 8:15 p.m., Oaka Altion, Movistar Deportes 3).

 

After finishing last week's double round empty despite competing well against Real Madrid and on the FC Barcelona’s court, the calendar gives no rest to a Valencia Basket that will try to repeat the win achieved last season in this court with a winning triple by Chris Jones. The general balance, however, is negative for a Valencia Basket that has won in two of its five visits to the green team's court.

 

The Taronja team will travel to Athens this afternoon to begin a tour that will later take them to Palencia with the problems concentrated in the point-guard position. With Ferrando confirmed and Hermannsson sidelined, coach Mumbrú has Chris Jones who is playing despite not being 100% recovered from his ankle injury and the doubt of whether he will be able to include Jared Harper or Stefan Jovic in the expedition to extend the options in that position in at least one of the two games.

 

Valencia Basket begins this tenth day in ninth position in the Euroleague with a balance of 5-4.
