Valencia Basket wants to change its dynamics vs. Virtus Segafredo Bologna at La Fonteta

Valencia Basket men's team will play their last home game in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague to face Virtus Segafredo Bologna (Thursday 6, 8:30 p.m., Fonteta, DAZN) in a round 33 game of the top continental competition.

 

After arriving with options to be in the Playoffs up to two rounds from the end, the Taronja team will now try to improve their feelings and look for a win to offer to their fans that will allow them to end their recent bad streak of results and finish with a positive balance in the European competition games this season.

 

A win would allow the taronja squad to stay above Virtus in the final standings and also take a small revenge against the Italian team after the elimination in the last season semifinals of the 7DAYS EuroCup and the severe correction that the taronja team took in the first leg game, when they fell in Bologna by 89-59.

 

It will be the fourth time that this Italian team visits La Fonteta, with a favorable balance for the local team by 2-1, although it will be the first time that they meet in Valencian territory in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

 

Valencia Basket will have twelve players available to face this game, since although Millán Jiménez has started training with the rest of his teammates, he is still not ready to enter the squad. Bojan Dubljevic (right knee sprain), Sam Van Rossom and Klemen Prepelic are also sidelined for this game.

 

Valencia Basket begins this round located in the 13th position of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with a balance of 14-18.
