Valencia Basket will try to keep adding in the Fonteta in the visit of the Zenit St.Petersburg

Valencia Basket returns for the third time in five days to the Fonteta to try to extend its recent good dynamics in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague round 9 game vs. Zenit St.Petersburg (Tuesday 19, 21:00h, Fonteta, DAZN). The Taronja squad will try to extend the good performance shown in the last two home wins against Bayern Munich and Casademont Zaragoza and look for what would be the third win in a row at home in the Euroleague to continue looking up in the standings.

 

In a game in which the main statistical aspects are closely balanced, the rebound control, especially in the taronja hoop, and the accuracy from the three-point line are considered as key aspects. Valencia Basket will host for the first time in the highest continental competition a rival which the taronja squad beated here last year in the EuroCup. Although the defeat against CSKA Moscow of the round 1 cut the good dynamics against Russian rivals in Valencia, despite which the balance sheet against rivals of this nationality in the Fonteta is 16-5.
