Visiting Olympiacos Piraeus, the unique taronja ritual in all its participations in the Euroleague
Valencia Basket will
visit the Olympiacos Piraeus’ court for the seventh time on Friday for a
Turkish Airlines Euroleague game (Friday 4, 8:00 p.m., SEF, DAZN/Movistar+ dial
65). The red and white team is the only rival that the taronja team has faced
in all its appearances in the top continental competition, so the visit to
Piraeus has become the only ritual that will be repeated in the seven presences
of the Valencia Basket in the Euroleague. A tradition that the taronja team
began with a victory in a match played on an alternative court to the Peace and
Friendship Stadium, later chained four losses in a row and in the last
precedent added its first victory in the usual lair of the red and white team
