With La Fonteta as the sixth player to decide the ticket to the semifinals against UCAM Murcia

Valencia Basket men's team returns home to face the third and final game of its quarterfinals series of the Endesa League Playoffs to face UCAM Murcia (Saturday 25, 8:45 p.m., Fonteta, Movistar+ Deportes) in a game which will decide the fourth team to reach the semifinals this season.

 

After managing to recover the home-court advantage with a solid win in the Murcian fortress by 72-83 in the second game of the series, the Taronja team will try for the second time in an ACB quarterfinal to come back from a series in which they began by losing the first game at home (the taronja squad only achieved it in the 2018-19 season against Unicaja).

 

Coach Xavi Albert will have one eye on the infirmary until the last moment: next to the confirmed sidelined players Boubacar Touré and Kevin Pangos, the three players who could not finish the game in Murcia due to injury will be questionable until the last-minute: Chris Jones, Semi Ojeleye and Damien Inglis.

 

Despite all the physical conditions, the available players of the Taronja team will try to take advantage of having the support of theirs fans who will receive them with a tifo of Taronja scarves to become stronger against a rival that has won in six of its last thirteen visits to Fonteta, including the first game of this series.
