Without accuracy, no options in Bologna (89-59)
Valencia Basket saw
its good run in the Euroleague cut with a loss on the Virtus Segafredo Bologna’s
court by 89-59 in a game in which its poor shooting accuracy and a great
Italian defense gave our team no chance of win. The Taronja squad was clearly
overtaken in the first fifteen minutes of the game and get 24 points down,
without finding any accuracy in their offense. Mumbrú's men found a way to
score a little from Jones' hand to reduce their disadvantage at halftime, but
the 3-point baskets of Ojeleye and Mickey once again triggered the local
advantage even above that figure at the start of the second half. Despite the
efforts to try to reduce the gap, the efficiency of the Italians did not drop,
leaving the final result at -30.
