Xabi López-Arostegui reaches 200 games with Valencia Basket
In Sunday’s game at La Fonteta against Barça, forward Xabi López-Arostegui became the 22nd player to reach 200 games played with the Valencia Basket men’s first team. Yesterday afternoon’s game was his 104th appearance defending the orange jersey in the Liga Endesa, in addition to 92 appearances in European competitions and 4 in the Copa del Rey.
The Basque forward is in his fourth season with our club, having joined from Joventut Badalona in the summer of 2021. He debuted in the orange jersey on October 10, 2021, in a game at La Fonteta against Real Madrid.
Since then, he has accumulated appearances with the team, becoming the third player on the current roster with the most games played, behind Josep Puerto (280) and Jaime Pradilla (275).
