Xavi Albert’s Comments

“It was a great performance—building on the momentum from recent games—and we’ve taken a step forward. There will be ups and downs, but we prefer to start by connecting with the crowd—not just through scoring, but through intensity. We faced some difficulties in the second quarter and had to make adjustments; they disrupted our flow and tightened up the game. The second half saw a constant back-and-forth from both sides, where we had to get back to defensive basics. And well, while some things slipped away—like Blakeney, who always plays well when he comes to Valencia—it was a great game that I hope our fans enjoyed ahead of the holiday.”
