First EuroLeague Women victory with a record number of three-pointers (105-47)

J3 EUROLEAGUE WOMEN

Valencia Basket secured its first victory of the season in the EuroLeague Women against CS Rapid Bucharest on the third matchday of the competition. It was a game in which the team excelled on offense—a true scoring festival—breaking its all-time record for three-pointers, with seven different players scoring from beyond the 6.75-meter line. The team made a total of 20 three-pointers, compared to the 18 it made on the road against Spar Gran Canaria last season. In addition, the team set a new scoring record in European competition with 105 points, surpassing the previous high of 99, which had been achieved on two previous occasions. This was an important victory, as it marks the final game of a three-game EuroLeague Women streak at the Roig Arena; the team will now face three consecutive games away from its home crowd. It was a great night at the Roig Arena to build momentum for the challenges ahead.
