Valencia Basket men's team travels to Badalona for Game 3 of its Liga Endesa semifinal series against Asisa Joventut (Sunday 14, 8:00 p.m., Roig Arena, DAZN/Movistar+/Esport 3/Orange/Vodafone TV), after making the most of its home-court advantage in the opening two games. The team heads into the matchup with a valuable 2-0 lead in the series after extending its strong run of form to eight consecutive victories in domestic competition.
The taronja side will have the first of three opportunities to secure a place in its fourth Liga Endesa final. However, it faces the challenge on a court that has historically been one of the most difficult venues for the club in domestic competition, having lost seven of its last nine visits to Badalona.
Despite those unfavorable precedents—including a 90-87 defeat in the only game played in Badalona this season—Valencia Basket will be backed by more than 250 travelling supporters, who will make the trip on four buses to support the team.
Although Valencia Basket has not often found itself with a 2-0 lead in a best-of-five playoff series in the Liga Endesa, on the two previous occasions it held that advantage, it managed to clinch the series in Game 3. Should Pedro Martínez’s men do so again, they would match the club’s best playoff winning streak, set last season.
The taronja squad has travelled to Badalona with three confirmed absences due to injury: Nate Reuvers, Josep Puerto, and Xabi López-Arostegui.
