With the victory achieved yesterday in the third semifinal game against La Laguna Tenerife — which secured our place in the third Liga Endesa final in our history — coach Pedro Martínez recorded his 143rd win at the helm of our men’s first team. This figure allows him to tie Miki Vukovic’s record and match him as the coach with the most wins in charge of the men’s first team.
The Catalan coach has needed fewer games than the Bosnian manager to reach this milestone, as he has required only 187 matches (a number that also moves him up to third place in the ranking of games coached from the head seat of the Taronja bench), compared to the 231 games Vukovic coached at Valencia Basket.
COACH | WINS | GAMES | |
1º | Pedro Martínez | 143 | 187 |
2º | Miki Vukovic | 143 | 231 |
3º | Velimir Perasovic | 120 | 187 |
4º | Jaume Ponsarnau | 120 | 201 |
5º | Paco Olmos | 97 | 148 |
