Valencia Basket men's team wraps up the Regular Season at home in what will be the final game of this round at La Fonteta, hosting Río Breogán (Friday 30th, 21:00h, Fonteta, Movistar+ Deportes) in Round 34 of the Liga Endesa.

The "taronja" team already knows that it will finish at least third, but needs to win and hope for a loss by Lenovo Tenerife to secure second place. Their opponent in the Playoff quarterfinals will be either Joventut Badalona or Dreamland Gran Canaria. However, their side of the playoff bracket remains wide open and won’t be fully determined until this final unified round concludes. What Pedro Martínez’s men do know is that a victory would allow Valencia Basket to register its fourth-best Regular Season record in the ACB.

But it won’t be easy against an opponent who, since returning to the Liga Endesa in 2021, has won two of its three visits to La Fonteta—and who last season forced Valencia to come back from 13 points down in the final quarter to claim the win. In the first-round clash earlier this season, Valencia needed an impressive performance with eleven three-pointers in the third quarter to take the victory in Lugo, 75-87.

In addition to the long-term injury absence of Ethan Happ, point guard Stefan Jovic will also miss this game due to ongoing elbow discomfort. Valencia Basket currently holds third place in the Liga Endesa standings with a 24-9 record.
