Valencia Basket is once again on the road to play on Río Breogán’s court
Liga Endesa round 2

Valencia Basket men’s team faces its second away game of the week as it visits Río Breogán (Sunday 12th, 5:00 p.m., Pazo dos Deportes, DAZN) in a matchup corresponding to the second round of the Liga Endesa.
The taronja squad will need to recover both physically and mentally from Friday’s hard-fought but unrewarded effort on FC Barcelona’s court in the EuroLeague, where they fell 108–102. They will look to bring out their best version to try to take the win on a court that has historically been a tough one for them.
Although Valencia Basket has won in its last three visits and holds the overall head-to-head advantage, two seasons ago they needed a buzzer-beating three-pointer to clinch the victory, and last season they had to make eleven three-pointers in the third quarter to secure a game that had become complicated. The Galician team also made things difficult in the preseason matchup played three weeks ago.
Valencia Basket has traveled directly from Barcelona with the thirteen players currently available, with confirmed absences of Xabi López-Arostegui, Jean Montero, and Yankuba Sima. However, one of the team’s non-EU players will have to be left out of the squad list.
Pedro Martínez’s men start this second round of the Liga Endesa in sixth place with a 1–0 record.
