Hind Ben Abdelkader completes her signing with Valencia Basket
2025-26 Women's team roster
Point guard/shooting guard Hind Ben Abdelkader (30 years old, Belgium, 1.72m) is now officially a new Valencia Basket player until the end of November this year, after successfully passing the medical and physical examination, as well as cardiological and stress tests at Quirónsalud.
The new taronja guard underwent her medical check-up this Monday at the Quirónsalud Mercado de Colón Medical Center, overseen by Valencia Basket’s chief physician Dr. Vicente Sebastiá, with the support of Dr. Antonio Giner for the stress test, as well as cardiological tests carried out by Dr. Catheline Lauwers — all with satisfactory results.
About Hind Ben Abdelkader
The Belgian player has extensive international experience, having played last season in China with the Shanxi Flame, averaging 7.3 points and 1.6 assists. After starting at a very young age in the Belgian league and a brief stint in American college basketball, her first professional experience abroad in Europe was in Spain, where she played for Cadí La Seu in the 2014–15 season (10.9 points and 3.1 rebounds). After her time in Spain, she embarked on a basketball journey that took her to France, Poland, a long stretch of her career in Turkey, as well as Russia and China. Along the way, she gained EuroLeague Women experience with Wisla Can-Pack (10.3 points and 3.5 assists), Hatay BB (13.6 points and 2.7 assists), and more recently, in 2023, with Villeneuve d’Ascq LM.
