Kameron Taylor completes his signing with Valencia Basket

American forward Kameron Taylor (1.98m, Hyattsville, Maryland, 10/05/1994, 30 years old) is now officially a new Valencia Basket player for the next two seasons, until June 30, 2027, after successfully completing his medical and physical examinations, as well as cardiological and stress tests at Quirónsalud.

The new “taronja” player underwent the tests this Tuesday at the Quirónsalud Mercado de Colón Medical Center under the supervision of Valencia Basket’s head doctor, Dr. Vicente Sebastiá, with the support of Dr. Antonio Giner for the stress test and Dr. Catheline Lauwers for the cardiological exams, all with satisfactory results.

The new “taronja” player comes from Unicaja, where he played the last two seasons, standing out as one of the key members of the green squad in a year when the Malaga team won four titles. Taylor was named MVP of the Spanish Supercup and was selected for the All-Liga Endesa Second Team. The American forward was Unicaja’s highest-rated player both in the Liga Endesa (11.9 efficiency points) and in the Copa del Rey, which they also won (21.7 efficiency rating).

In the 61 games he played across all competitions in the 2024-25 season, he averaged 10 points on 38.4% three-point shooting, 4.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.2 steals for an overall efficiency rating of 12.7. In addition to his offensive contribution, Taylor also stood out defensively, posting the 10th best defensive rating in Liga Endesa (105.3 points allowed per 100 possessions while on court) and ranking 11th in Plus/Minus (+5.3).
