Mo Gueye completes his signing with Valencia Basket

American power forward with Senegalese passport Mouhamadou Gueye (2.06m, Staten Island, New York (USA), 07/08/1998, 28 years old) is now officially a new Valencia Basket player for the 2026–27 season after successfully completing his medical and physical examination. These took place at both the Quirónsalud Valencia Hospital and the Quirónsalud Mercado de Colón Medical Center, under the supervision of Dr. Vicente Sebastiá, head of medical services for Valencia Basket’s first teams.

The medical tests consisted, as usual, of a full examination of the locomotor system, an electrocardiogram, and an echocardiogram.

About Mo Gueye

The player arrives from the United States, where he has been competing in both the NBA and the G League over the past seasons. The power forward spent last year with the Chicago Bulls’ affiliate team, where he averaged 15 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists across 47 games. With the Illinois franchise, he played two NBA games, producing averages of 8 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal, raising his total number of appearances in the best league in the world to thirteen, adding to his previous experience with the Toronto Raptors.

He now lands in Spain with Valencia Basket to experience his first European adventure, competing at the highest level in the Liga Endesa and the EuroLeague.
