The coaching staff for the women's team has been finalized for the 26-27 season
WOMEN'S TEAM
Valencia Basket has already finalized the coaching staff for its women’s team for the upcoming 26-27 season—the team’s ninth in the top division—with Javier Torralba making his debut as head coach.
The Catalan head coach will retain Roberto Hernández as his assistant coach—a veteran with extensive experience coaching in Spain and Europe, as well as with national teams—who will be entering his sixth season with the club. Joining them is Mireia Capdevila, a Catalan coach who comes off two seasons as an assistant coach at CB Tizona in the FEB First Division and has experience coaching youth teams for the Spanish national team. She recently won a bronze medal with the U20 women’s team at the European Championship alongside Rubén Burgos.
Marta Sorlí will continue as an assistant coach for her sixth consecutive season, alongside Jago Pérez, who last season coached Nou Bàsquet Paterna, the club’s affiliate team in the LF Challenge. Both will focus primarily on video analysis and the individual development of the players.
