Valencia Basket will face Perfumerías Avenida in the semifinals of the Supercopa LF Endesa

Perfumerías Avenida will be Valencia Basket's opponent in the semifinals of the Supercopa LF Endesa. The draw was held this morning in a pure draw format. The Taronja team will face the Salamanca team in the first round, which will be on Saturday, September 27, at 5:15 p.m., at the Palacio de los Deportes in Huesca.

The other matchup will pit Casademont Zaragoza against Hozono Global Jairis at 8:00 p.m. The winners of both rounds will compete in the final on Sunday, September 28, at 5:00 p.m. All games will be broadcast on Teledeporte.

This will be Rubén Burgos' team's sixth consecutive appearance in this competition. In their first year, the Taronja fell in the semifinals to Lointek Gernika. Three years ago, they were crowned champions, defeating Perfumerías Avenida in the final. Two seasons ago, Valencia Basket reached the final, where they ultimately lost to Spar Girona. In the last two years, the Taronja have won the title consecutively, once against Perfumerías Avenida and once against Casademont Zaragoza. Three of the last four Supercopa LF Endesa have been won by the Taronja.

Valencia Basket's sporting director, Esteban Albert, has assessed the draw, noting that it will be "a very tough semifinal, just as it would have been against any of the teams in this Super Cup. I don't think there are any easy opponents, nor any games that won't be very competitive, either in the Super Cup or during the season. I think this season's league is going to be very tough for all teams. We will try to give our best and fight for a place in the final against a team that has built itself up very well this summer, has made significant changes to its roster, and will surely come out strong, just like all the teams participating in the Super Cup."
